*Painter $15-18hr

About the Role

This position is responsible for painting interior and exterior surface on campus buildings.
Responsibilities

Performs painting duties. (80%)Prepares, primes, sands, seals and patches furniture, surfaces, buildings, and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, and heat-resistant finishes. Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment, including brush, roller, sprayer, and pumps. Assists in erecting scaffolding and ladders. Removes or covers graffiti. Paints parking lots and poles. Paints campus benches.

Performs other maintenance duties. (20%)Assists other personnel in the performance of repair and maintenance tasks as needed. Maintains assigned tools and equipment.

Performs a variety of related duties. (10%)
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. More than one year of related experience required. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Pennsylvania for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
